I pay great respect to the survivors as well as those individuals who have died defending what they may have believed was necessary to defend or honor. But I will never accept the reality that weapons are the means to solutions. I have always felt disgusted that there is even a holiday such as Memorial Day. This will be the last Memorial Day that I will commemorate in observance of my disapproval of this chain of events that keeps on repeating. I will not be an active member of a collective thought that in any way justifies the death of another. To make a short story long, I don’t like BBQ.
