LOVE…The Concert
starring David Vernon
In anticipation of
the forthcoming album titled LOVE, witness the true and intimate story of a
love triangle come full circle as told through the compositions of the world’s
most sensitive love songs. Alex Leonard is Music Directing this concert and it
will include material from my forthcoming album "LOVE".
The LOVE
album is a collection of favorite love songs rearranged and given a contemporary
and cutting edge vibe. This concert at the Metropolitan Room will include many of these pieces in an acoustic and intimate setting. The album and concert are
2 thirds in the LOVE trilogy
project that we're launching this year. The
project will culminate to BELOVED which is a musical theatre piece.
Come along with me through my own examination and expansion of LOVE.

Director Alex Leonard: All Music Guide calls Alex Leonard, “an
important mainstay of the Big Apple” and Show Business writes, “superb piano
playing… a class act”. Recently featured in the 25th Annual Cabaret Convention
at Lincoln Center he has been featured in venues from Manhattan to Europe and
Japan. A two time MAC Award nominee he
has performed in the Cabaret Series at the National Arts Club hosted by Donald
Smith. He has been a featured guest on many programs including Bloomberg
Radio’s The Business of Show Business.
