Thinking about this recent rise in the lack of good behavior in the theatre. Perhaps we are now experiencing the backlash of removing the arts from most schools as a part of a balanced education. We are living in an age where many people are confusing "Art" for culture or entertainment. They do not comprehend what is TRUE Art. When stars became celebrities and athletes became stars, when opera went mainstream and photographers became more interesting than painters And the list goes on. It's no wonder at all to me that these things are happening. I appreciate all of it but as an artist myself it's easy for me to see the contrast between culture and Art.
